I'd Rather You Leave Than Stay Around and Make a Fool of Me 1
ok so this is the new fanfic I am writing with jordan (jordanatthedisco23)
"Jasey, five minutes," my boss yelled, as I scrambled to get my papers together.
I was just about to interview a local band, Forever the sickest kids, for my schools newspaper. I was extremely excited, but nervous at the same time. Mainly because I actually liked their music, and I wasn't going to lie they were pretty good looking.
"You ready?," my friend and co-worker, Brittany, asked as she handed me my little microphone to put on my shirt.
Brittany and I have been best friends for years after I met her in 4th grade. I figured she was jealous I got to interview Forever the Sickest Kids, because I knew how much she loved them too. Especially the lead singer, Jonathan Cook.
"Yeah," I replied, walking over to the area we had set up for the interview.
As Mike, the cameraman, worked on getting the camera set up, I introduced myself to the guys. All six of them where polite, and shook my hand as they told me their names.
Now if you where to ask me what was going on in my mind, I would simply say that hair was always the first thing I noticed when it came to guys, and red and bleach blond hair was attractive to me. Remember Caleb and Kyle, I thought.
Once I got the cue to start from Mike, I started going down the list of questions, and questions we had gotten from fans. They where all funny, and answered perfectly. Once the interview was over I was glad I hadn't ended up making a fool of myself, and that it was successful.
Brittany came running over to ask if the guys wanted any refreshments or anything like that. They said no thank you, and I decided it was time to make my move. Only because I knew it wouldn't be weird if I asked the guys to do something, because I had a reason too now.
"Hey um...do you guys maybe want to go out tonight? Since you gave us an amazing interview, its the least we could do," I asked, looking towards Brittany. She smiled, and looked at the guys.
The lead singer, Jonathan nodded and replied, "Yeah, sounds good," as he looked back at his band members for approval.
"Ok, cool," Brittany said,"How about we meet at the Ice around 7?"
They agreed, and once they left, I just about leaped for joy. I was escatic and couldn't wait for tonight. I felt like a little girl, but I just laughed it off.
